Intense Pulsed Light (IPL) for Hand Rejuvenation
The power of IPL's pulsed delivers excellent results in reduction of skin discolouration, especially in brown spots and certain red discolouration. Treatments last approximately thirty minutes with no down time, only a temporary redness on the skin. Treatment is generally repeated three to six times, a few weeks apart.
Vbeam for Hand Rejuvenation
The Vbeam laser emits a special light energy that can dramatically improve skin discolouration, especially from broken blood vessels, Rosacea, spider veins and red spots (also known as cherry angiomas). Treatments last a few minutes and may cause appearance of small bruises which disappear after a few days. Treatment is generally repeated two to five times, a few weeks apart.
Dermal Fillers for Hand Rejuvenation
Dermal fillers are used to replace volume that is lost over time. HA (hyaluronic acid) is a component manufactured in our bodies that depletes as we age. Replacing hyaluronic acid is safe and effective in improving volume, texture and in smoothing out fine lines - such as those on the back of our hands. The injected HA then stimulates the production of collagen and elastin so that the skin on the back of our hands looks plump and youthful again. Though some patients have reported results lasting up to two years, six to nine months is the norm.
