Vbeam for Vascular Lesions
The Vbeam laser emits a special light energy that can dramatically improve skin discolouration found in vascular lesions. Treatments last a few minutes and may cause appearance of small bruises which disappear after a few days. Treatment is generally repeated two to five times, a few weeks apart.
Intense Pulsed Light (IPL) for Vascular Lesions
The power of IPL's pulsed light impacts skin colouration to power of pulsed light to deliver excellent results in reduction of skin discolouration, especially in brown spots and certain red discolouration. Treatments last approximately thirty minutes with no down time, only a temporary redness on the skin. Treatment is generally repeated three to six times, a few weeks apart.
Fractional Skin Resurfacing for Vascular Lesions
A fractional skin resurfacing treatment uses a laser to make microscopic thermal holes in the skin without destroying surrounding tissue. This allows the small damaged areas to quickly heal and remodel your skin's collagen. Select skin colour issues also involve scarring or raised and uneven skin tone and fractional skin resurfacing can bring about a major improvement in overall skin texture and smoothness along with the reduction in discolouration from other treatments for an impressive and complete result.
Depending on the desired result, clients may receive one to three treatments of approximately thirty minutes. Following treatment, clients will experience "sunburn-type" redness for a few days, followed by exfoliation of "dead skin". In about a week, the skin returns to normal. Treatments are given at two or three-week intervals and clients need only avoid sun exposure between treatments.
