New Acne Laser Being Tested At Victoria Park

Victoria Park Medispa always seeks to be at the forefront of medical esthetics. The makers of Thermage have just purchased the Isolaz laser for acne and have asked us to be the first clinic in Montreal to test the laser for them.

The Isolaz has a proven record in the USA and is the only FDA approved system cleared to treat comedonal and pustular acne. Isolaz uses a technology called Photopneumatics which is the only therapy that combines a vacuum and painless broadband light to deep cleanse and purify pores from the inside out. Studies have shown that 64% of non-responders to orals, topicals, and other lasers had 75% clearance and overall, patients had 88% clearance of papular, pustular, nodual, and inflammatory acne.

Victoria Park will be testing the Isolaz from May 24 to June 18. The generally recommended treatment protocol is one treatment per week for four weeks followed by a maintenance program of two treatments per year. Treatments take approximately 20 to 30 minutes and are regularly $150 to $250 each depending on the area treated. During the test phase, we will be offering the treatments at $75 to $125.
