Val Desjardins is the Head of Strength and Conditioning at Victoria Park. As a former national level soccer player, All-Canadian and NCAA Division 1 scholarship athlete, Val has had the opportunity to work with a wide variety of coaches and trainers over the past 20 years. She is a certified personal trainer, certified functional training instructor and EXOS Fitness Specialist. She has coached teams, individuals, and athletes for the past 10 years. Val uses highly effective strength and conditioning methods and believes that nutrition is as important as training. Working with all levels, from professional athletes to everyday people who want to lose weight, prepare for a wedding, look good naked, put on lean muscle mass or get cut.
