Skincare Specialist 

Victoria Park Medispa operates a growing network of medical spas across Canada. We were one of the first Medispas in Canada and have been selected as Top Medispa in Canada by the Spa Industry Association. There are currently 10 Victoria Park Medispa locations, in Quebec and Ontario. 

As a skincare specialist, working in our newly renovated space in Place Versailles in Montreal East, you will be responsible for cultivating a warm and customer-centric environment. Your primary focus will be to educate clients entering the boutique pre and post-treatment.  All of our products are high-quality medical-grade skin care products. You will report to the Boutique Manager and be part of a team that is accountable for sales, product knowledge, inventory, merchandising, events, and developing relationships with clients. You will collaborate closely with the Medispa technicians and our purchasing/inventory specialist.  

This is an exciting opportunity for a result-driven people person, who is passionate about skincare and customer service.  We have both full-time and part-time opportunities available.  Come grow with us!  

Responsibilities will include: 

• Creating a warm environment where clients feel welcome to explore and learn more about our products  
• Ensure COVID-19 protocols are followed upon entry into the boutique 
• Provide remarkable customer service in a professional and friendly manner 
• Maintain a high level of knowledge surrounding Victoria Park products and services to ensure all boutique customers are provided with detailed and accurate information. 
• Work with client and/or provider to help Identify customers’ needs and recommend skin care products based on their preferences to help maximize results of treatments 
• Ensure proper presentation of products within the boutique  
• Share information with clients on pricing and special offers 
• Providing efficient check-out for clients at the boutique cash  

Qualifications required: 

• 1-3 years’ retail or customer service experience 
• Perfectly bilingual in French and English 
• Must have a DEC or higher education 
• Must be passionate about skincare and be able to offer remarkable customer service 
• Must be available to work evenings and/or weekends 
• Strong communication skills and attention to detail 
• Background in esthetics or makeup application is considered a strong asset 
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively is a requirement

Accounting Manager

We are a growing accounting team.  As the Accounting Manager, you have the ability to establish financial status by developing and implementing systems for collecting, analyzing, verifying, and reporting financial information, and managing accounting staff.  

Reporting to the Accounting Director, the ideal candidate will have prior work experience in a multi-company environment in retail or the medical service industry. You have the ability to multitask and are hardworking and tenacious. You are a team player and have an understanding of the entrepreneurial spirit!  

Responsibilities include:   

• Lead a team of 6 accounting professionals  
• Prepare and maintain monthly financial statement records  
• Prepare and post journal entries and accruals to the general ledger  
• Review monthly bank reconciliations  
• Maintain and balance monthly account reconciliations  
• Maintain and balance fixed asset and depreciation schedules  
• Perform monthly inventory cost analysis  
• Prepare month-end financial statements for business partners  
• Prepare year-end financial statement packages for external accountants  
• Prepare quarterly GST-QST remittances  
• Regular correspondence with various government agencies  
• Define and document work procedures and processes  
• Participate in ongoing special projects    

Requirements:   

• Postsecondary degree in Accounting  
• Minimum of 3 to 5 years of relevant work experience  
• Proven leadership capabilities  
• Prior experience managing a team  
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office, MS Excel, Sage, and Word  
• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage deadlines

Digital Marketing Specialist

We are searching for a bilingual super star who will be responsible for aligning Victoria Park’s digital marketing strategy to our marketing plan, including SEO/SEM, email, social media and traditional media campaigns.

What you’ll be doing:

• Measure and report performance of all digital marketing campaigns, and assess against goals (ROI and KPIs)
• Collaborate and manage various agencies and other partners, such as website developers, social media content curators, SEM agency and more, including setting priorities, utilizing strong analytical ability to evaluate, review conversion and other metrics, and propose solutions based on those insights
• Manage e-comm site
• Identify relevant trends and propose how to leverage them in a way that adds value to our clients
• Brainstorm new and creative growth strategies
• Collaborate with internal team to create landing pages for promotions
• Evaluate emerging technologies. Provide thought leadership and perspective for adoption where appropriate

Must have’s to be successful in this role:

• B.Comm/MS degree in marketing or a related field
• Bilingual written and spoken
• Proven working experience in digital marketing
• Demonstrable experience leading and managing SEO/SEM, marketing database, email, social media and/or display advertising campaigns
• Entrepreneur mindset with emphasis on teamwork and A-Z project management

We are searching for a medispa technician to join our Gatineau team! As a Medispa Technician, you will provide treatments that may include microdermabrasion, chemical peels, skincare consultations, laser hair removal, and other rejuvenation procedures under medical supervision

If you have 1-3 years of previous experience as a Medical Spa or Medispa Technician provider and are interested in joining a team that is cutting edge, innovative, highly educated, and dedicated we would love to hear from you!

Responsibilities will include:

• Providing client consultations on all treatments offered.
• Delivery of treatments to Victoria Park standards.
• Sales and application of appropriate skincare products.
• Maintaining knowledge and understanding of Victoria Park products, services, and promotions and actively promoting these with appropriate Victoria Park clients.
• Upholding the standards of cleanliness, hygiene, and safety as directed by law and the facility’s policies and procedures.
• Performing prep work, properly and restocking rooms as required.
• Handling client’s questions, concerns, and requests professionally and courteously ensuring complete client satisfaction.
• Maintaining a positive attitude and contributing towards a quality work environment with team spirit.
• Assisting in all areas of operation as requested by management.

The following qualifications are required:

• 1-3 years of relevant experience
• Background medical aesthetics
• Certification in laser training
• Superior interpersonal and proven customer service skills
• Ability to maintain world-class operating standards
• A positive disposition and action-oriented attitude
• Must be a team player
• Must be available one evening a week (until 6pm)
• Must be bilingual in both French and English
